Several people sustained injuries after a Delta aircraft traveling from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia experienced turbulence Friday morning.
The flight, numbered 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it touched down at the Sydney airport, a company official stated. Four flight attendants were injured.
The New South Wales Ambulance Service reported they treated a total of five people, and transported three of them to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that such as pain in the back and headaches. Those affected ranged from their 30s to 70s.
